Make your Mistakes Count
One of my biggest challenges as an artist is getting out of my comfort zone. I’ve found that the more I push the boundaries of what can work the richer my understanding of visual language gets.
Most of my experiments are failures, but every once in a while, experiments can lead to a new understanding of a core principle or reveal a technique that leads to a new workflow.
The most important thing, as I see it, is fostering curiosity and remembering that it’s all about having fun!
